Just stock up on a ton of green nail polish for St. Patty's Day and now contemplating tossing it all away?  Hold that thought!  Green can be a tough color to pull off and girls are often times turned off by the idea of wearing green shades of polish other than on festive holidays like the one we celebrated this past weekend.  The truth is, there are a ton of really great green polish colors that are subtle yet trendy and even offer a nice transition into the spring colors we all know and love!  Lighter green tones such as "mint"and "sage" are perfect for calm, subtle mixtures that blend in perfectly when wearing a cute sweater and a pair of jeans.  Deep greens and even metallic polishes are awesome for a nighttime look out for drinks with friends or even date night.  Try experimenting with these types of green polishes and don't shy away from the unconventional nail colors because often times they give you a pop of color to boost your style and add a fun feel to your everyday look!  Take a look below at some of our favorite green polishes and don't forget to re-use those fabulous tones from St. Patrick's Day!

Aloe Vera Scalp Treatment

Aloe Vera has been used as a skin product by men and women for generations, but did you ever consider it as an effective hair treatment?  If not, it might be time to stop thinking sun burn and start thinking hair rejuvenation!  While it might be surprising to some, aloe vera has many benefits when being used on the scalp.  Girls often times get frustrated with hair frizz, oiliness or scalp dryness, which can create dandruff and cause you to be self-conscious.  Coincidentally, there have been aloe vera shampoos around for quite some time however, it isn't as commonly used compared to the commercial brands we know and are comfortable purchasing on a regular basis.  But, next time you're in the store, purchase an inexpensive bottle of aloe vera juice or shampoo (generally under $10.00) and try it out!  One technique is to gently massage aloe vera onto your scalp about 30 minutes before you plan to shower, then simply rinse out thoroughly under warm water.  There are many benefits to using aloe vera as a hair treatment because of the natural minerals and vitamins it contains.  These elements help to restore your hair's health and can even aid in growth, all of which contribute to fabulous, healthy looking locks!

Beach Waves!

Have you ever got up late and had time to take a shower, but not enough time to blow-dry and style your hair? This has happened to a lot of us at some point or another, but now we actually have the right products to let us get away with not styling our hair and still looking good. One of the easiest things to do is beach waves! There are a wide variety of products offered for different hair types that give you the effortless beach wave that looks good and will last you all day. One product that we like is by Not Your Mother's and its called "Beach Babe." This product is infused with texturing sea salt and sea kelp that will keep your hair looking good all day. It also smells like coconut, and leaves your hair soft! You can find this product at Ulta for only $5.99. Don't want to spend money? You can make the Sea Salt Spray yourself, all you need is a spray bottle, sea salt, gel, and coconut oil. Take a cup of warm water add a table spoon of sea salt and a table spoon of coconut oil and shake it up and spray all around! One of the tricks that we have learned with the beach waves is to let hair towel dry, spray in the product and scrunch your hair a few times. Then go apply your make-up, put on your outfit, and before you leave blow dry your hair a little with the diffuser, add some more product and you are good to go!
